About Jessyka
Jessyka is a surface pattern designer creating expressive printed textiles and wallpapers inspired by folklore, landscape, and storytelling. Her work explores the connection between people and place, translating themes of memory, atmosphere, and seasonal change into richly detailed pattern designs.

Her recent project, The Land That Holds Us, draws inspiration from the myths, movement, and changing landscapes of the Lake District. Through layered motifs, shifting colour palettes, and narrative-led compositions, the collection reflects the relationship between landscape and identity, capturing both the magic and familiarity embedded within the natural environment.

Beginning with hand-rendered coloured pencil drawings, Jessyka’s process combines illustrations with digital development to create contemporary repeat patterns with depth and texture. Her designs are intended to bring warmth, character, and a sense of storytelling into interior spaces through textiles and wallpaper.
