The beast of Cumbria

The Beast of Cumbria draws on the enduring legend of a mysterious large cat said to roam the hills and remote fells of the Lake District. Long whispered about in local folklore, the creature is believed by some to prey on livestock, leaving behind stories that blur the line between myth and reality.
Alongside this dark folklore, the design is inspired by the native flora that emerges across the Lakes in springtime. Layered botanical forms and flowing compositions create a strong sense of rhythm and movement, reflecting both the untamed landscape and the elusive nature of the legend itself.
