Inspired by the heather that sweeps across the Lake District as the weather turns warmer, this design captures the vibrant pinks and purples that transform the fellsides throughout late summer. Covering the landscape in rich colour and texture, the heather creates a striking contrast against the rugged terrain of the Lakes.
Through layered hand-drawn illustrations and repeating pattern, the design reflects the movement and abundance of these seasonal blooms. Created for wallcoverings and soft furnishings, the pattern flows across interior spaces, echoing the way heather stretches endlessly across the landscape.
